Can you put a link to my site on filmmaking.net?
Frequently asked question for filmmaking.net
Filmmaking.net receives a large number of link requests. In order to keep these requests managable, we will generally only link to third-party sites in one of the following ways:
Resources for New/Independent Filmmakers
These usually take the form of blog posts or reviews of services on the net that offer substantial content that is useful to new and/or independent filmmakers. This type of link is found on the home page and later moved to the articles archive section.
Film School Links
Filmmaking.net offers one of the most comprehensive databases of film schools on the Internet. New school links can be submitted in the Film Schools area of the site.
We run a large events database so if you are running an event for filmmakers, you can submit it for listing. Please note that filmmaking.net does not list film premieres in it's events database.
Filmmaking.net has a dedicated area for film festivals. If you are running an event, please submit it for listing using the Suggest an event function. Please note that the festivals database is for listing festival details. Post your 'call for entries' in the Film Festival group of our Discussion forums.
Sites & Services Directory
General sites of interest to new and independent filmmakers can be listed in the Sites & Services Directory.
Promotional links for things such as film festivals, movie launches, and talent calls are not maintained by filmmaking.net. You are free to post such information in the News & Promos area of the Discussion section of the site. Alternatively, please contact us to discuss advertising or sponsorship opportunities on filmmaking.net.
Advertising & Sponsorship
Banner and other forms of advertising space are available on filmmaking.net, and we are also open to discussing other forms of sponsorship for the site. More information on advertising on the Cinemagine Network.
