What good film schools are there in the USA?

Interestingly, it is not USC, UCLA or any of the glamour schools who have the largest number of alumni creating celluloid dreams - it is LA City College. Statistics aside, it's also a hell of a lot cheaper to attend than most of the other schools mentioned.

All of these institutions are listed in college guides that are available from books stores, local libraries, and career advisers. Note however, that U.S. universities and colleges can be extremely expensive for non-residents and there are relatively few scholarships for international students in the media area.
