Reviews of London Film Academy

There are better, less expensive places to learn the film trade. Try the courses by Raindance, or NFTS... this would be a waste of money.

Just that you know. This school is working on a non-profit basis and is a trust fund. The largest amount of your tuition fee is re-invested in your films. The amount of films that are produced during the 1 year diploma course is staggering: 16! This means they produce 1 film every 3 or 4 weeks! Working is small groups which are the size of a basic film crew (10 to 16 students) you learn every part of film making. I just did the 1 month introduction to film making ertificate course. But we made 10 stills-projects to visualise the various stories and in the end of the course we made 3 short-films. They teach you the true art of film making in all aspects. This academy is relatively cheap compared to other film schools. Most of the students who do a one year diploma course first do the one month certificate course to see wheter they like it or not and to know what to expect of the diploma course. Because you have always the option to talk to diploma students you get to understand the way they work. All films are shot on Super 16mm.
