The Kwetu International Animation Film Festival (KIAFF) is organized in April, every year, against a backdrop of rapidly emerging opportunities for the animation industry in East Africa.
KIAFF provides the platform to showcase and promote local and international animation films and bring together animation writers, innovators, filmmakers, distributors and genre critical stakeholders to ensure the development and distribution of high quality East African animated content.
In between implementation of the hybrid festival, KIAFF will provide capacity building workshops and screenings with the aim of becoming the centre and the HUB of the animation film industry in East Africa.
