My friends and I want to develop this kung fu movie. I just want to know what you guys think of the storyline.

Basicly there is this guy named snake and he is a master of the snake style kung fu. Snake's own teacher is killed by two brothers called the Scorpio brothers who are champions in the scorpion kung fu. The whole plot of the movie is basicly Snake going to get revange on the scorpion brothers. Its going to be about 1 hour and 30 minutes long and it will be very similar to the movie desperado, excepete it will be mostly kung fu. Also the movie will take place in LA with a more modern style instead of the old kung fu movies.

Im just wondering will a kung fu movie ever have a chance of winning anything at a film festivle and what you think of my story.

The story sounds a little cliched.
I like the title though.
Good luck with it.

Well, you're probably not going to get much of a response from this treatment. It could be a great original story, and it's the treatment itself that's a bit unoriginal. I would suggest you let someone you trust read the script, and go from there. Practically every Hollywood movie has been done before, but that doesn't stop them. Good luck. I'd like to read it.

I advise that you become a producer and use your resources to sponsor someone with a more... striking vision. As an honest reply to your question, no, I don't think the story as you've outlined it would win any awards at film festivals. But that's not to say it won't be a box office smash...

did you throw a dart at a dart board to obtain the plot ?

very cliche.

no, i can tell by your post you won't win anything anywhere, especially a spelling bee.
