It might interest readers to know that Napier is now one of only seven UK film schools to be designated a Skillset Screen Academy, alongside the National Film and TV school, and is the only one in Scotland. We now offer three taught postgraduate degress - the MA Screenwritign and the MA Screen Project Development (for producers) and the MFA Advanced Film Practice for writers, producers or directors.

..well Napier is one of the few courses in the UK offering 70% practice/30% theory as well as Super 16mm production in 3rd and 4th years. Our students won 6 of the 8 awards at this year's Scottish Students on Screen and out of last year's graduates one is now making a Tartan Short for BBC/Scottish Screen and another is making a This Scotland for Scottish TV. The majority of our staff are practicising film-makers or photographers and were working closely with the film industry to develop new courses.
